Oratory is one of the several speech events done at Skyline. Oratory speeches are self-written, memorized, and action inducing. Participating in Oratory gives you a chance to express yourself, and gives you the freedom to write about anything you want.

My name is Barbara Calzado Real, and I am the Original Oratory captain for the year of 2021-2022. I will be a Senior this year, and it will be my third year doing Speech and Debate. I love doing Oratory because it is a way for me to conduct research, learn about things that I am passionate about, and transmit knowledge to others. Participating in Oratory lets you express yourself, and your values! I am looking forward to working with everyone on the team and meeting new people!
